Privacy notice
Short version: this site does not collect anything, and no third party is contacted when you load it.
What this site does
These pages are static HTML and CSS. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no embedded fonts or scripts loaded from third-party servers, and no forms. Nothing you do here is recorded by the author.
Server logs
The site is hosted by GitHub, Inc. (GitHub Pages). Like any web host, GitHub processes technical data such as your IP address, the time of the request, and your browser's user agent in order to deliver the page and protect its infrastructure. The author has no access to these logs. GitHub's privacy practices are described in the GitHub General Privacy Statement and the GitHub Pages data collection notice. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — the legitimate interest in delivering a functioning website.

Following a link from this site to arXiv, a publisher, Google Scholar, GitHub, or ORCID takes you to a service with its own privacy policy. Those policies apply from the moment you arrive there.
No email address is published on the front page. If you write to the contact address given in the imprint, your message and address are processed only in order to reply to you, and are kept no longer than that requires.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data concerning you, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Bavaria that is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht. Contact details for the author are on the imprint page.
